About Dr Christine Langhoff

I am a doctor in clinical psychology and I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and the British Psychological Society. I provide assessments and evidence based psychological therapy for individuals, couples, families and groups.

I can help with many difficulties such as depression, anxiety, stress, bereavement, low self-esteem and relationship problems. I also provide perinatal specialist services for pregnant women, women with children under 2 and their partners as well as a psychosexual service and I have a special interest in physical health conditions (e.g. cancer, diabetes, COPD).

I provide a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment in which to explore your current difficulties. My main therapeutic approaches are cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and systemic therapy. I also use acceptance and commitment therapy, narrative therapy and mindfulness techniques in my work.

I have training, expertise and experience of working with clients from different cultural and religious backgrounds and work with clients irrespective of their gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity or race.

I also offer therapy in German.
